as far as we know thi problem has arisen after we had our stock,none have needed doing so far

np doing it will not harm the messiah 2 wether it needs it or not

a way to test if it needs doing is to pop a meter over the diode(redish chip) if there is no reading then the track needs cutting

if there is a reading then u shouldnt need to cut track

fault found reported on actel tq100 0245
our stock your chip was mainly tq100 0242 with few tq100 0243

0245= year 2002 week45

any 0245 we recieve will have the via drilled out before we ship
i hope this makes it all a bit clearer
