Tell them to give you the REASON they think this..... Like Dust said, if this wire comes loose, it will do exactly what you say it is doing...So it is VERY possible.....Of course, it could be the chip, BUT it could also be the wire.... I guess the guys at your shop are fortune tellers.... (They know without even looking)
