All Pioneer's models like the A05, 105, A04, and 104 are highly recommended by everybody in the ps2 backup world, including myself. Another good choice is the Sony DRU500A. It is very much like the A05 except it has the option of burning +r and +rw. If you are going to be burning ps2 games and dvd these options arent necessary. Plus dvd+r media costs more.
