Hi J,

Yep, that writer can write any type of software including SD2, so long as you use Clone CD, and I'd advise using Clony Protection detector, as it works in conjunction with Clone CD and give you the correct settings to backup protected software in Clone CD.
The only drawback though is this...
It cannot read data in subchannel modes.. either data or audio.
I'd suggest that you use a Toshiba or Teac reader to read and then you will be able to back up any software using clone CD. Cya.
