Actually it's pretty old I guess, probably from right around when Thief 2 came out. You don't need the new 5.1 version that they're asking 14$ for, this one will work good enough under XP. "Unsupported" actually means "it works but we're too lazy to makes sure that it keeps working in future Windows versions" in Microsoft speech
