NTSC games work just fine on my PAL Dreamcast. Never had to patch any game. The only thing you have to make sure it that your TV support 60Hz (NTSC). If that is the cause then you can play any game you want without paching it.
That is why I don't understand why there are so many patches out for games
unless the patch PAL game to USA games so it has 60Hz on them instead of 50Hz. In any case just get a TV that support both (50Hz and 60Hz) and you are fine.
