I'd try the latest version of Daemon Tools if I were you, I don't know if Fantom even gets updated these days, you definitely need a later version emulation.
Here's the latest version. The differences between safedisc 2 and the latest safedisc version, 2.8xx are more than enough to break older emulation software. Plus there's a big chance Fantom's blacklisted by now. It WILL work, trust me on that
