Hi,
The REGION X can boot your backups aswell as playing multi-region DVDs (need a modchip aswell)
As far as i know you cant use a PS2 memory card for PS1 games.
The NEO4 will not require a Boot Cd to play backups, just pop the backup in and off it goes.
