You can buy a "Macrovision Off" chip there which will allow you to copy from DVD straight to video.
Other mods you can do include inserting a link into your PS2 to get rid of Green screen when playing back DVD video using a component scart lead. These can be found on
WWW.China-messiah.com under messiah fitting instructions. Although they are part of the fitting instructions you don't actually need to fit messiah to put link in.
Also DVD Region X kills green screen.
