Yes, PS2 CD you can do 1:1 copies, PS2 DVD you could rip game down to smaller size. Ripping can be fairly involved, and obviously "rips" out part of the content on the disc ie part of the game.

Yes it is possible but I would advise you against even trying it. Picture your front door to your house. You can physically make the door open without a key, but look at what you have done to the door afterwards. Doing it too many times will eventually knacker the door and leave it useless.

Now have another look at your PS2 - do you really want to do that to it? Mods dont cost that much and are more than worth the small investment.
