several good points, I'm not saying console gaming is bad, I own a ps2, xbox, and dreamcast with about 25 paid for games on each system. I have each and every one of those games you mentioned with the exception of conflict. and I plan on buying vice city.
But some of your points are rediculous, PC gaming is 10000000 times more social than console gaming! LAN is old news buddy! get yourself a broadband connection and come to play baby cause we frag all night long on the internet man! consoles can have a max of what 8 players? if you can get enough friends together. Now im not saying that isn't fun, I play red faction, blitz, TWB, and numerous other console games with my friends all the time. But when I wanna play some BF1942 (that game owns any other console game), ut2003, SOF 2, NOLF 2, C&C renegade, jedi knight 2, RTCW, not to mention the plethera of rpg titles (nvrwntr nights, DS, icewind 2 to name a few) and countless other multiplayer games, the internet is ALWAYS on! There's ALWAYS thousands of friends to make and play with. now to me that beats playing a half as good (graphicaly, I'm all about graphics)
game any day!
