It depends on if the game you are trying to backup is cd based or dvd based......
Look on the back of the original game case, or on the disc itself...It will say either "Compact Disc" or "DVD-ROM"...
The easiest way to backup a cd based game is with Clone CD.
You can rip dvd based games to cdr but it is time consuming and a royal pain in the A$$.....
Also, what type of mod chip do you have (or will you be getting) to play the backups......
