I have a SCPH-30004R and i wanted ti chip it, so i bourght a Magic 2 chip from
www.divineo.co.uk where they actually sell it reallt cheap... but is is'nt specified which version the chip was
made for ;(
They just write:
"The chip is compatible with all V7 3900x models (USA/PAL/JAP), and the V5 & V6 (R models)"
But is'nt the chip for V7 and the chip for V5/V6 separeted in two chips?
But the problem is that i bourght now, and i need to find out where to solder on the chip.. and for that i need to identify the chip... But is there anyway to du that...?
The chipboard is green and it say "MAGIC-2" and underneath that "M2-v3.0"...
Is that enught for identifycation?
