Just got a great deal on a PS2, and "upgraded" it with a Messiah Chip from
http://www.finalchip.com .
My PS2 is a V5 model SCPH 300004R PAL
My problem is.....
I've borrowed 3 backups from a friend to test my installation, and the following happens:
"Tekken4" & "Donald Duck Goes Quackers" : i get the menu, and the PS2 logo, then a black screen, nothing else.
FIFA WC 2002 works just fine .
They are all on Imation 80 min, made by an "experienced burner" who has by his own words "newer had any problems"
I've followed the boot instructions and other advices i found in this great
forum.
I guess my chip is working and installed correctly, as i have no problems with FIFA WC 2002
So whats the deal; is it bad medias or do you have another idea to get me "gaming".
