So what do CDSpeed and DVDSpeed actually DO?
The software and website tell you almost nothing about *how* to use them and *what* they do... so I can run them and twiddle knobs and settings, but I find no distinct value to this software. I don't get what it's doing, and I find no docs to tell me what to look for.
Are they really as useless as they look on the surface? Even Microsoft's "unsupported" TweakUI gave you more to go on.
