1 i dont think u can do it
2 by sounds of your fault its your laser cant b calibrated to write the disk
possibly the media is crap what brand is it try another brand
possibly the laser is dirty try cleaning with cd cleaner(1 with little brushes on a cd)
hopefully not this one the laser has died
i had same error on my pioneer a03 when trying to write dvds
cds would write np
they replaced it with pioneer a04 it was still under gaurantee luckily
