This is a copy and paste from the Magic 2 website!
- There is a restriction on the Magic 2 v7 applicable to PAL PS2s whereby it can only play PS1 games for the same region as the PS2. So a PAL v7 can only play PAL PS1 games (30002/3/4 are interchangeable in this regard).
You don't need AR2 or Gameshark to boot games BUT i'm unsure about the movie end of it.... Since I haven't heard of the Magic 2 hybrid....
When you get some more info on the hybrid, please post here so we can see what is going on with this new chip.....
