I thank you for your reply. However, I'm familiar with binhack, ipins, etc...
My problem is with the games that don't work once you change the LBA of the 1ST_READ.BIN. I don't know what it is in Europe, but with US burners, the "audio.raw" file always ends at LBA 11702. Some games won't load when you change the boot.bin to that LBA. They must remain at 11700, but you can't burn them at 11700 on US burners, since the msinfo value is always 11702.
I know there is a program to fix this, but it only works if you have the "original" cdi file released by Echelon.
An example of this is "MSR." You can fix the internet option etc., but you can't reburn it normally, like you would other games. It just won't work. Also, the Sega Sports series and numerous other games.
The second part to my question was about the games with CDDA. I'm very familiar with those as well. I have burned many games after putting in my own music tracks. However, there are a few games that don't want to boot once you go through the normal process... whether you change any of the music or not.
An example of this is "Hydro Thunder." I can rip it with isobuster, make the "ip.bin" VGA compatible, and when I try to reburn it, it won't load (this happens regardless of whether I change anything or not). This is the same with several other games as well. I don't know what it is about these particular games, but if someone knows, I would really appreciate the help.
Again, I am familiar with the CDRecord burning process. I have ripped, hacked, modified, etc. numerous other games successfully, (both CDDA and non-CDDA). I'm just having problems with certain ones.
Thanks so much for your help,
-Ex
