It works now thanks to everyone on these boards and their patience!

I have another question,

Is the messiah the best chip on the market and able to play ALL the PS2 games ( even Over 630mb) ? Do i still need an AR2?

Also, can i remove the neo 2.2 and replace with a messiah?

I have a V5 mainboard..

Is it easy to do? or am i likely to fry my ps2? (i can solder, but are diagrams complicated?

Thanks in advance,

Agree with dust2dust and Yes u can remod ur ps2 with the messiah and boot up without the AR2.Beside u can even boot up the dvd-r game with no problem. At the moment with u got neo 2.2 on ur V5 board u won't be able to boot any dvd-r game so u gaining
The only concenced is to remove the chip and resolder the messiah chip
If u r confident about that than u shouldn't have any problem otherwise I suggest u get a pro to do it 4 u
