The version of EasyCD you are using simply does not have your writer in it's list. You need to download an update that will (hopefully) make it recognise your writer. The same happened to me when I bought a HP9150i. I had to completely update EasyCD to version 4.
So try downloading the patch for new writer updates, if that don't work, get EasyCD4 or above!!
