I'm with A03 on this one... There is no protections on DVD based games (YET).... Most likely you have a bad burn or media problem...

Does the NEO4 swap trick invole the size of the TOC...( ie. must swap a larger toc disc )???? May also be your problem???? Sorry but I am unfamiliar with the way the NEO4 works.... Just trying to give you some ideas....
