It will depend on what game you want to copy... (CD based or DVD based game)...
The best mod chip (since you live in the US, I assume you have a US PS2) is the Magic 2...
Although it is very complicated to install (23 wires).... I would suggest sending you PS2 to Bill in Chicago for the install...
