My copy of scooby doesnt play correctly in my panasonic dvd player because scooby is an svcd and the panasonic dont support this.I expect thats why your matsui doesnt see this format.
Power dvd should support it though.I have powerdvd4xp and scooby works fine on that.
Alternatively if you have a cd writer look at the site
www.vcdhelp.com and that shows how to convert svcd to vcd or using a "header" trick to tell your player its a vcd.Try it?
