I'm having the same fatal errors
... here are my sys specs, maybe someone has similar hardware n stuff...
OS: Win 2K Pro
CPU: 866 PIII
Ram: 512 MB Ram
GPU: GeForce 2 GTS w/ 64 MB Ram
Audio: Sound Blaster Live! Platinum
MB: VIA chipset

I have all of the latest drivers and updates possible for my system
, I'm guessing it's a Win 2K issue or a GPU issue... Another thing that happens sometimes when the game crashes is my sys reboots itself... now I've had this problem in the past with Half-Life (under both Win98SE and Win2KPro after a vid driver upgrade or sys reinstall) and I've always had to mess and tweak the vid settings to get it to work... I've tweaked and messed around for about 4 hours now, and can't get War3 to run more than a few minutes... here's a partial paste of one of my messages:

These are the two versions I am getting... sorry to take up so much space, but I just wanted to put out more info...
