Bighap has told you about the Messiah chip...
Now, the clip you asked about is to reduce the number of wires that must be soldered to complete the installation...

They are working on a clip that will make you only have to solder 2 wires (everything else will plug in)....
It is supposed to reduce installation time down to less than 10 MIN.
