4 GB Game???

Didn't know they ran that high--most of the games I've played have been <3GB. I HAVE run into a 4GB barrier with movie DVD's though. If that is what you are trying to do, I would suggest you try SmartRipper. It has a backup feature that you can use to "rip" the entire DVD to your hard drive as it is laid out on the DVD--folders, IFO's, each .vob,.....then you can rip it back to DVD-R. If the DVD won't fit on a DVD-R, you can rip JUST the main movie file AND DeMacro it at the same time (splitting it at each VOB or designate a size up to 4GB), pull only one Audio stream and remove the Subtitles. This can reduce file size by as much as 50% of the total DVD size. You don't have the menus or special features (you can create a second DVD-R backup of just those items) but it will work.

By pairing this with DVDx or TMPGEnc, I've been able to squeeze about 110 minutes onto a VCD 700MB disc overburned to 722 MB's. Missed getting HarryPotter on 1 CD by only 130 MB's. If I could just get my hands on some 90 Min CDR's........hehe.

Good Luck!
