The best modchip available is the
Messiah or the
Magic 2.(As long as your PS2 supports them)
On the Best Disc question, it varys a great deal....
Verbatim, Apple, Princo..... These seem to work great.....
There are some people that have had success using cheaper media...
You said you have a 100% Clone CD compatible burner.... Then you can backup ALL CD based PS2 games....
You CAN backup DVD based games using a CD-burner... Its called ripping...... VERY CONFUSING AND VERY TIME CONSUMING.....
Invest in a Pioneer A03 or A04 DVD burner.... ALOT less hassle....AND definately worth the money.......
