Charlie_PS2 referred some guys to this website in Chicago. I forget his forum names (I think his name was either Bill or Jim?--you vet's will probably know him). Anyway, I hear he's a great guy, and knows a butt-load about the inner workings of the PS2. If the fan wires aren't the issue, you might want to try getting in touch with him, or try to flag Charlie_PS2 down at the "new"
