have you tried CloneCD?
i must confess i never tried to image a backup, but have you tried CloneCD?
i've at least been able to create an image file with it, and ccd seemed to correctly detect the two sessions.

i assume you mean copying ORIGINAL games, which aren't CDs but GDs.

sorry, but there is no way to read a GD-ROM, except in the Dreamcast itself. If you want to make backup-copies, you can do it for example with a PC-DC serial lead (often called the "coders cable")....

because...
...Dreamcast discs are not normal CD-ROMs, they are GD-ROMs, a SEGA proprietary format which stores about a maximum of 1.2GB.

some games don't support VGA
Hi,
afaik VGA has to be supported by the game you're playing.
The backside of the game's case has to show some "VGA compatible" logo.
have you checked that?

Hello everybody,
i have recently ripped a gd using dreamrip and got out 6 tracks, of which the first and the last one were ISOs.
My questions:
:confused: How do i have to handle these 2 ISOs...
