Yeah based on your recommendations I removed the one-wire that I soldered on the Ace Key for my PS2 v5. I only had it on there for a couple of days, I hope it did not cause too much damage....

Thanks for the reply. I have the box the chip came in and it says Ace Key V5 + V6. The chip came with one yellow wire, it was the one-wire configuration [and that one wire is optional]....
