i have bought pacific assault,but i go to play the game on winxp,it says,put in cdrom.cannot find cdrom.

well i have gone into the hex editor thing,and have managed to change the numbers (probably with sheer luck),and guess what.doom3 now works on my win98se.
doom3 also runs much smoother in my win98se...

can i install farcry without dvd
i intend to buy farcry pc game this week.i have a cdrom,and a cdrw.
will be able to install the game from either the cdrom,or writer?
