I just modded my NTSC PS2 today with the SBOX (it's a v1 so I couldn't go for the really good chips) and it seems to work fine. I haven't yet tested a PS@ CD-R but I've tested PSX CD-Rs and they work...

Arc the lad Collection NTSC->PAL patches wanted
I need NTSC->PAL patches for all the CD's in the collection (Arc 1, 2, both CD's of 3 and arena). I tried using PAL4U2000 without success and I can't fins any of the patcheson megagames. Please help!
