I got Guilty Gear x2 Usa burnt it and every third round it went to a black screen. I figured it was a bad burn so I reburned it at a slower speed and got the same thing.

Patched Spliter Cell No go

I just patched PAL Splinter Cell to Ntsc with Adr and allthough it did seem to work the intro looked good but the videos where half screen and the cd glitched to the please insert a PS2...

Just a varification
Holding down the power button for six seconds does indeed disable the apple chip. I did it today and it worked fine.
I also noticed before I did that I tried to play SWEP1 Dvd and it would not...

Whinning and pitching?
Is it normal for the ps2 to make whining and pitching noises while loading from CDR/DVD -R cd's while its loading?
The games run fine but are the noises ok?

If I buy a Ps2 network adapter and connect it to my cable modem do I need to pay a monthly service to play ps2 games?
