Iam from australia so this may not help many people but i did a nomal copy of the cd's to hard drive then copy i applied the game.exe and emperor. exe cracks from this site after installing the game...

For it to work for me I had to go to setup dir....

For it to work for me I had to go to setup dir. on the cd then run the the setup_allied.exe file and it worked fine if it don't work then I must have copied it a different way.
