ok maybe it was too stupid what I was trying to do by opening the DVD through explorer.
it is working now!

Thanks for your reply,
I downloaded alcohol and again, the same error:
"F:\ is not accessible"
"the file or directory is corrupted and unreadable"
is there anything I should know about mounting...

the mds/mdf file is not mountable.

I followed your steps above but when I try to mount the image file it says "the file or directory is corrupted and unreadable"
after redownloading the same file many times and rcving the same error,...
