1. Install the games. Update games. apply NO-CD if necessary.

2. Download attachment, extract to HD, NOT in Gamefolder.

3. Create a temporary folder, move the game folders to created folder. Game folders should specifically have the following names:

Shantae Risky's Revenge

Shantae and the Pirate's Curse

Shantae Half-Genie Hero

4. Run UltraARC_mod, Browse/Select Your installed game (created folder), then choose output location.

5. Test the conversion, before burning ISO.

Important info for users of this conversion:

Emulator should be VisualBoyAdvance.exe and the rom just named Shantae.gbc for everything to work.

Typo in UltraArc.ini that causes Half-Genie Hero component to not be recognized as one (to fix that I had to fix INI manually).
There's double of Condition3=, whereas Half-Genie Hero's Component should be Condition4=. It's also fixable after already doing the conversion, all one needs to do is simply add a Component=4 to the four archives of Half-Genie Hero in Records.ini.

Shortcuts are a bit wrong. Shantae shortcut points directly to the rom. It should point to VisualBoyAdvance.exe with a command line parameter to run the game, so: VisualBoyAdvance.exe Shantae.gbc
Also, Half-Genie Hero has two exe's: ShantaeHero.exe and ShantaeHero64.exe - the latter is 64-Bit DX-11. Naturally, the latter exe has no shortcut.

If this is Inno syntax, the Parameter entry should just say: Shantae.gbc. But will test with current settings.

EDIT: Yep, parameter=Shantae.gbc and all will be good. Apologies. ;-)

Hi, I'm not creating the shortcut for Shantae and the Pirate's Curse game. I have the GOG version. Maybe the installer does not find the game executable. Greetings.

then edit your post & add the EXE name & path to it.

This works also with the new ultimate edition of Half-Genie Hero - exe names have not changed!
