Setup correction

I correct music because there was a loop in the first track.

assetfile* (4,85 GB) have a good compression ratio with lzma+srep (~50-60%).
imagefile* (25,8 GB) have a poor compression ratio with lzma+srep (~90-95%).
code_post_gfx.sabs (7,48 GB) have a poor compression ratio with lzma+srep (~80-95%).
rest of the files (~22 GB) have a poor compression ratio with lzma+srep (~90%).
bik files are (obviously) not compressable. Are there any options to exclude this files from compression in UltraArc? If not, this is my suggestions to razor :D

TIP: To save compression time, move out all bik and sound files from Infinite Warfare folder to somewhere else, run UltraArc and set any compression you want for Infinite Warfare folder. Next step compress the folder where you put bik and sound files with none compression using UA. Last step set up Records.ini accordingly. I guess you save ~30-45 minutes of time for compression. Or compress bik and sound files with standart bat converter.

Big THANK for such detailed compression infos!!!
I'm actually working on my own conversion of "CoD Infinite Warfare" using CIU2.0.4 and those infos are really helpful:)
Are there any huge files included in the game?

KaktoR 05-11-2016 05:37

Yes, code_post_gfx.sabs (7,48 GB). It is neccessary to split this file somehow. srep+lzma are over 4,5 GB in my test.

It is also possible that this file is too big for UltraArc (UA doesn't care then and exclude this file from compression).

Just set FreeArc and leave all blank there, then press start.

nima1369 ask in the proper topic for the issue you are having, IF its NOT related to this specific conversion.

Others who continually ask for a conversion for another game. Use the damn request topic & supply the needed info ( big RED text ) post has been deleted.

When using this setup has encountered an error.

are the image you posted & the error message I quoted all for this conversion?

nima1369 05-11-2016 09:57

Yes Bro.

pakrat2k2 05-11-2016 10:35

then why use 7z? the issue is the extension name you have for the files it MUST be 7z
manually edit ultraarc.ini & change from bin to 7z.

go read the quantum break topic & you'll see the issues people had using 7z as compression method, easiest to use freearc. Just with some games it stalls or freezes during compression, so another method needs to be used, like QB.

Some further testing (all the day, what a time waste)...

I guess minimum amount of dvd's are x13 without multiplayer files with standard compression. Too hot for me.

Will delete this piece of junk after playing the campaign.
