cracks do not work under windows 7 ?
 

hi guys,

the notstalgia has me so i bought a few old games i like..

the fixed.exe cracks work fine, but whenever i download a "crack" it doesnt work under windows 7. unfortunatly the games i play are very old (like Anno 1602 NINA, and DeusEx), so there´s only a few cracks out there.

no matter what crack i downloaded, i always get the message: this version is uncompatible with the version your using, check what system you have win32 or win64bit. i just cant open the file !
i know it worked well under XP but with windows 7...btw i have admin rights.

so what is this that i cant open cracks to play my games without cd ? my stupid DVD burner is just to loud, and the CD´s to old...might broke one day.

anyone has a solution?

Once you have copied the crack file(s) to the game folder, then right-click on the game's exe & set compatability to XP, then it should run without issues.

Start games in compatibility to Win XP - that might help.
