1. Install the game. Update game, apply NO-CD if necessary.

2. Download attachment, extract to HD, NOT in Gamefolder.

3. Move InstallUtils folder from game's installed directory to the extracted folder (Last dvd).

4. Run UltraARC_mod, Browse/Select Your installed game, then choose output location.

First to note, great conversion, really good design.
Just one thing but it's not your fault, it's just any conversion of this game using Freearc will lead to an incomplete conversion due to a well known Freearc limitation with accents on these filenames
Dirty but simple fix, add them with folder structure like a crack folder to manually copy them until they fix it, in this case it's only 7.4Mb

Another way of fixing it, use 7-zip or winrar options (you will get a bigger conversion)



BTW, don't know what's the difference between UA 2.4.0.0 Final Rev 17/03/2015 and UAMOD, but I couldn't get it to finish conversion with UAMOD, always throws an error and wont finish.
Used UA 2.4.0.0 and everything went OK

i finish conversion and i have 3 dvds. is that possible? I use lzma and srep compression.

@geotee2007: well i packed it to 13GB (without the HD textures dlc) so it is possible

when I intall the game from conversion, the shorcut was corrupted. Did i make sothing wrong?

Thanks omdj conversion works great only x3 DVD5 with srep, exe, exe2, delta, lzma.

DVD1= 4,37gb
DVD2= 4,37gb
DVD3= 4,16gb

Nothing removed and updated with the latest patch.
Just one thing the shortcut dont work! please fix it ...

Just a question regarding _Commonredists, they are not just in _Commonredist folder ( that ONLY contains DirectX ), but the folder named as below has all 4 redists for the game:

InstallUtils\DirectX\DXSETUP.exe
InstallUtils\PhysX\PhysX_9.10.0513_SystemSoftware. exe
InstallUtils\vcredist_x64-1.exe
InstallUtils\vcredist_x86-1.exe ( both 2010 )

The 'extra' redists needs to be added & paths corrected, or take them from InstallUtils & place them in _Commonredist folder.

The 4 EXE's are named as such: ( IF I remember after update x, they added the _11 exe's. Latest Version is V1.04 atm )
VanHelsing_x64.exe
VanHelsing_x64_11.exe
VanHelsing_x86.exe
VanHelsing_x86_11.exe

AND 2 GL versions named

VanHelsing.exe
GLVanHelsing_x86.exe

for a total of 6 exe's you could have shortcuts to. :eek:
