Bioshock retail copy

Hey there!
I'm currently thinking about buying the very first Bioshock for the PC.
Sure, I could easily browse to steam and buy it for a few bucks (during one of those infamous sales hehe) but well, it is steam I bet you can understand my concerns towards their way of selling you a game.

So I thought about buying a physical retail copy of the game. Back in the day I read horrendous stories about the copy protection of the game, you could only install it a few times or something like that.
My question now is: do I still have to worry about this? Could I buy a physical copy and easily install it with one of the cracks from gamecopyworld?

Thanks for reading

I definitely think you should. Crackers are proud people, they wouldn't leave around not fully working cracks for years. ;)

(Perhaps, there's a GOG version, with copy protection removed already?)

If you have Windows 10, then you haven't any other chance than crack it anyway :)

Lol what? I think a lot of the Microsoft scare stories are getting to people. I've been running windows 10 with several cracked games and programs since beta, keep in mind my window is up to date as well and kms activated via mstk. I'm talking over a terabyte worth of games and programs and at least half of them are cracked. I have around 80 games installed, 60 legit from steam the rest are torrented goods. All running without any issues.

Tldr, finding a crack for BioShock should be a hitch, if you want help finding a good one pm me. Also people should not make ignorant remarks without anything to backup their claims. No a couple of goofy articles trying to scare people does not count as backup. And as far as I know there also many workarounds and ways to remove any "monitoring" or "piracy protection" Microsoft has in place.

PS Sorry if I come off sounding rude or anything of that sort, I'm not trying to flame, if anything its those ridiculous windows 10 claims that have been spreading that I want clear up. I hpe this post is helpful to the op and other readers alike.
