Serious Sam 3 BFE + Jewel of The Nile (2xDVD5)

Before we start I've set compression to -m0 (no compression) after trying several methods with no success (difference was less than 300mb) so requests for 1xDVD5 will not be answered since I won't try anymore.

Installer Music: War -Hero from Serious Sam 3 OST

1. Install the game

2. Download SS3.rar and extract it anywhere you want. (not in game folder)

3.Go to Game directory and move Redist folder anywhere, then move DirectX folder (it's inside Redist) to Support Folder in SS3_2 (then you can delete Redist)

4. Run compress.bat and insert your game's path when prompted and wait, it will take a few minutes.

5. When done, make isos with the content of SS3_1 and SS3_2 folders with the label of your choice

6. Test before you burn if there's any errors please report them


Final Sizes

DVD1= 4498MB (4.18 GB)
DVD2= 970MB (925 MB) w/o Redist

The size of the DVD2 5.07 Gb, What can I do?

Can you compare files between Data1 and Data2 cabs? What files in there? I guess Data2.cab contains also files from Data1.cab.

PS: Try with attachment and compress again.

you have found some solution? i have the same game size

The issue is in the bonus pack content ( there are 3 folders for the soundtrack aac, flac, wma ) delete 2 of them to save some space or else it wont fit on 2xdvd5
( I removed the aac, flac soundtrack folders )

Just finalizing new conversion for the Gold Edition ( which is what you have ) will post once compression has completed to test installer.

Serious Sam 3 BFE Gold Edition 2xDVD5 CIUV2

Same Installer as Ferv's from post #1 BUT Converted to CIUV2, for Gold Edition which is almost twice the size.
Install the game + updates, no-cd etc.
Remove the 2 folders I mentioned above, or it will then be 3xdvd5
choose source & output folder. Test before burning ISO

I have tried this conversion with Pakrat2k2 files and worked like a charm!

I have the last update + bonus packs, but I didn't compress the Bonus folder, then I got:

1 DVD5 = 4.37 GB
2 DVD5 = 772 MB + Bonus Pack (no compressed) ~ 3.98 GB
