Mortal Kombat 4 (SoldOut version NOCD?)
 

hi anyone,
I recently got the "sold out" version of mk4 pc. I discovered that it's more recent than patched v1.3 (you can find nocd for it on gcw).
I tried to make a nocd patch by myself using dup2 (Search and Replace Patch function) and existing patch for 1.3 as a base but unluckily it didn't work. Game protection are cdchecks and I attached the executable. Help is really appreciated :D

The game installs only these two files from cdrom.

This is the error when cdrom is not in the drive, I already tried copying all files to hard disk and messing with registry.

Why do you want re-patch it if is already there????, it it something wrong with the no cd patch itself???

Game version or exe is different/newer and existing nocd patches don't work! :-P

Really this is an old game but now a days I think its 10th part is released :)

I solved the problem: I made an bin+cue image so that I can run it on Daemon Tools with audio tracks and all, without inserting the cdrom every time. But feel free to make a cdcheck fix for the community.
