pakrat2k2 20-09-2014 11:49

takes about 10-12 mins to install ( just uses srep no precomp )

What's the main motivation for this game get such an excellent compression like this????

hydefromt70s 20-09-2014 21:45

Can anyone confirm this repack works? I had done everything right, game folder was compressed, I hadn't got any errors during compresion and file Data1.cab takes 2,59GB.

During the installation, the progress comes to 7.8%, and there are the following errors:

Any ideas?

Ok.Works.

hydefromt70s 20-09-2014 23:37

It doesn't work at all. I compressed again Wasteland 2 game dir after moving _CommonRedist, Books and Soundtrack to DVD1 folder. And again compressed Data1.cab file takes 2,59GB and again at 7,8% of instalation gets error like I posted earlier.

I've got new PC and for 100% my RAM is OK. This isn't causing problem.

installs without a problem thx
Seems like Unity games are quite easilly compressed (wastleand 2 - 22gb to 3gb, Blackguards 18gb to 4gb , MMX 12gb to 3gb,...)

What size is your Data1.cab file?

Newbie 21-09-2014 04:17

@hydefromt70s

Make sure you have free space on C drive since setup needs to use temp folder for installation as I know.

Working but have errors

Overall it's working, the game installs & working, even Uninstallation works fine, the problem is a "Runtime Error" when starting setup and 2 "out of range" errors when setup finishes, refer to pictures:

As I said, otherwise it works fine, also, I tested on a Windows 8.1 Pro 64bit edition if it matters.

Any ideas why this is happening?

but i guess problem might be with not enough free space on temp folder on C:/ for extracting
