Instruction Internal Compression:

1: Install the Game, Download Attachment, Unpack it, Download Altefs GID
2: Start GID.exe, click Import and choose the Risen 3.db from Attachment
3: Click Compile, follow the Steps from Compiler
4: Put the Final Conversion in a new folder for one DVD 9 or Two for 2x DVD5,
Uninstall Original Game, Reinstall from Conversion, Have Fun :)



Instruction 1xDVD 5:

1: Install the Game, Go to _CommonRedist \Direct X, throw away the DX Content and use the Direct X Web Installer, copy to Direct X Folder
2 (Optional): Go to data\ extern\ videos\ and resample endcredits.wmv, intro_loop.wmv, intro_start.wmv with a Tool like Format Factory, use the Options from Picture, Delete the two other Videos

3: Go to Data\packed\ and delete all unwanted Languages (example: 2_de_dlg.pak=German, 2_en_dlg.pak= English, a.s.o.)
4: Download Attachment (Risen 3_1xDVD5.rar), unpack, start Converter.exe, choose Game Folder, click Convert, wait for Finish!
5: Make a ISO and Enjoy.

Final Size( ISO): 4,24 GB

little suggestion, fix buttons caption indent, and alignment in future conversions, it's my mistake, i forgot to change default properties of buttons in default project.

I agree with what altef_4 is saying about the buttons, I am fussy about detail lol.

The space between each button should be the same, should be the same spacing between each button on both the top row and the bottom row of red buttons. Also the Text on the buttons should be in the middle of the button. The height of the buttons on each row should also be the same.
These are just little suggestions. Again nice work though. :)

Yea, if you Update your Designer with External Compression I'll fix it. Yesterday I haven't found Caption Indent under Button Options. :o

What is too bad? The look of the Conversion itself, or no External Compression? :confused:

So, we should wait till a new conversión comes out? or this one is ok?, also the installer comes only in German and italian?

Make your own Conversion or wait for other if you don't like my one. Or wanna wait till Update.
This Conv. Supports all Supported Langs for the Game! It's German, English, French, Italian and Spanish!

Inge... How to convert it without compression? i mean: save time when compress it... Game just 6.73GB, no need compress

Can't work with this file (Risen 3.db), I have done it in the hope it would be 1 DVD, but does not work with Internal Compression. Thats why I wait for Altef's Update. If you want one DVD 5, with this Conversion, wait a week. :)

Tested on W7 SP1 Ultimate x64, Works fine

For the moment 2x DVD5 i presume. Inge have to wait for altef_4 update on GID for external compression, then it should fit on 1xdvd5 (maybe).

Another question is about the installation language... normally when I open a installation, it changes for the language according to my language system (if it has, for portuguese, it hasn't, for english), but in your installation it always starts in german. Is it possible to change this???? Is this from your installation or the GID???
