Vampire the masquerade redemption
 

i have installed XP on a VM through my mac osx. i own the physical install/play discs to this game and i installed the game successfully onto the VM without much hassle.

however when i start the game First, i was getting an error saying that i needed to insert the play disc, which i double checked and it was in and mounted to the VM.

after playing with some settings i got it to see the Host CD/DVD tray again. but now when i start the game i get a few flashes of black screen and a smaller black box flash and then nothing happens. When i try and run the game with the task manager open i see that the program starts .. then disappears.

can anyone help me get this game to run?

You use play the game with a no-CD (crack). Copy protections don't work well or at all in VM's.
