Conversion/Graphic Arts: REV0 / Setup Script: yener90
Special Thanks: Fabioddq for compression method

Setup supports following languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Turkish, Czech, Danish, Finnish, Hungarian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese + Brazilian, Russian, Swedish, Chinese, Dutch, Japanese.

What's New:

* 3 DVD5 (ain't that obvious boy)
* GDF Library support
* Fixed Autorun and uninstall thingies (thanks to 1014)

Requirements:

* Currently supports en-us only, waiting filelists about other languages.

* Beer
* RELOADED's no-cd:
- RLD's no-cd eliminates the need of appdata and documents folders, therefore 3DVD5 is now possible. Legit customer must install/update the game than apply RLD's no-cd to make conversion. Otherwise legit game will require additional folders and for them you will have to burn 4th DVD. If you dont want to crack your game, go with 4 DVD conversion below:

Code:

http://fileforums.com/showthread.php?t=94362
Changelog:

- V1.30 Release (Check 'What's New' for changelog)

Instructions:

1. Install the game.

2. Download attachments below. Move HOTS content to COMP_HOTS. Open compress bat, and paste directory of the game.

Conversion will take 45 minutes according to your hardware specifications.

3. Once it's done, you will have one cab file in each folder. You can put extra stuff in first or second DVD. Burn the content of folders with same folder names. Still, I recommend fully uninstall and re-install from images before burning.

DVD Sizes (en-us, 2.0.6):

- DVD1: 3.99GB
- DVD2: 4.02GB
- DVD3: 4.28GB

I donwloaded the pt-br files (3GB) additional to the main game in english. And the game now is in the version 2.09. And works with RLD loader. I dont know what the files was updated. The game now has 15,0 GB (16.157.910.958 bytes).

Some files in english is gone, others continues. Lot of files added...

well, it seems it's not gonna fit to 3dvd5, can you post filelist in 4dvd5 thread Fabio ? Whenever you're ready, i'd like to update other conversion

@REV0, remember those PMs that we exchanged? The messages where I thought that Installer stops with file extracting on Disk change?

Well, it turns up that it is only visual freeze... I took your advice and placed all .cabs into one folder, made ISO out of them and installed just like that.
I didn't have the time to watch it over so I went to bed. Game installed "over night"...

And that's the real issue (I didn't re-try installing it classical way, yet to see the effect to it's fullest). When disks are swapped, installer looks like it froze.
Progress bar stopped at 33.3% and "Estimated Time" continued rising.

I did try something else. I "compressed" all cabs with -m0 compression ( DVD2 and 3 files were larger than 5GB, of course. I just did it for for the sake of testing) and installer went fine. Progress bar didn't freeze.

Tried this on two different Computers with different hardware and OS. Results are the same.

Is there anyway this can be solved?

the one you used was updated version of the exe, it's really interesting mate, and you're the only one who has this problem

Well, the most interesting thing is that both versions give same result (previous and this one). I am sure that I have compressed some games with same, if not stronger compression methods, and I didn't encounter any problems with other games so far...

That would be my piece of crap laptop. No, I didn't try compiling cabs on him.
Although his specs are crappy (Intel 1.8, 1GB RAM, Intel 965 Integrated GPU) and it could endure Installation tests, it (or should I say I) would not withstand to compress stuff on it. It would take too long.

Best thing for me, at the moment, would be to try to create cabs at my friend's comp which is superior to mine. I'll keep you posted.

OK... At friend's house at the moment. Trying to make cabs. This error popped up.

seems memory issue this time...

You can be the unluckiest person i've ever met mate lol

HellRazor 05-07-2013 14:49

Well is there any other compression parameter that I could try?
CPU is really fast, I can post the results in about 5-10 minutes...

What about those -lc/-ld...

REV0 05-07-2013 16:07

I'm assuming they'll be added in arc. ini

HellRazor 05-07-2013 16:30

OK... This worked...

Code:

arc a -ep1 -r -w.\ -m=srep+lzma:a1:mfbt4:d158m:fb128:mc1000:lc8
Cabs were created, ISOs made, game is installing without any issue so far.

Here are my custom covers (3 thin CD covers). Below you'll find thumbnails and archive with full resolution images ;)

REV0: Thanks for the conversion. I really appreciate your effort.

Don't know if it helps someone, but I've changed this conversion to be compatible with Latin American Spanish (esMX).
- I've downloaded the Started Edition from Blizzard (StarCraft-II-Setup-esMX.exe)
- Changed the "Data1.lst", "Data2.lst" and "Data3.lst".

So, here you've my moddified version.
P.D: By the way, RELOADED is not working any more, so you can use "StarFriendBeta_1.53_Release" that is working flawlesly and doesn't change anything.
