Can you add preview images?

pcgamer352 24-04-2013 08:17

I only have x86 OS :(

Fabioddq 24-04-2013 09:23

Thanks for the conversion peter. I have a doubt:

x64 OS is required to install the game after make the conversion? Or just required to make the conversion?

Thanks in advanced. :D

Only for the conversion. ;)

LZMA-x64 is more fast than internal x86 version.

LOL peter, works great! Your compression methods are insane for my poor brain. :p :D
I never had the opportunity to thank you for your old compress.bat. I use in my conversions, I hope you doesn't get boring. :D

Thanks again!

EDIT....

My final size: 2,36GB

Razor12911 24-04-2013 11:40

hmm, peterf1999, super compressed conversion, nice, have you heard of mpz compression? It works with freearc, it deals with audio and video compression, works better than 7zip and freearc itself. Need help in setting it up.
You disabled PM therefore decided to post. :D

Sorry if this an off-topic, do you know how to enable 8 cores usage in your command?

chuotchu001 24-04-2013 22:05

The convertion perfect on Win7 x64 and very nice. But After game install finish, I can't uninstall game.
Thanks peterf1999.

pakrat2k2 25-04-2013 05:10

did you make sure you moved uninstall files before making conversion, because if you didnt that may be why it cant uninstall. its happened before with other conversions.

peterf1999 25-04-2013 06:07

@ GAMES_PC axux

The file you are extracting is damaged ( bad checksum), you must re-create the archive file.

@ danswano

FreeArc supports multi-threading, use -mtx switch.

Where x=number of threads (1-16)

@ Razor12911

Mpz is lossless mp3 compressor

Code:

[External compressor:mpz]
solid = 0
datafile  = $$arcdatafile$$.mp3
packedfile = $$arcpackedfile$$.mpz
packcmd  = mpz c {options} $$arcdatafile$$.mp3 $$arcpackedfile$$.mpz
unpackcmd = mpz d {options} $$arcpackedfile$$.mpz $$arcdatafile$$.mp3

Razor12911 25-04-2013 06:50

well, have tested it in some game videos and results were not bad.
