InstallerScript CI 8.5.7.4 and many thanks fly to yener90 coz this installer use his source

1.Install the game and apply all patches and extract R6Vegas 2 DVD5 archive on HD

2.launch freearc and compress the following

PHP Code:


		
			
KellerGame(folder)

and use

PHP Code:


		
			
Output archive: Setup-1b.bin
Compression: -m4 normal
Make exe: Not checked

3.Move setup-1b.bin and kellergame folder somewere to a temp folder

4.Open installscript.iss and edit the following lines

5.Now move setup-1b.bin to R6Vegas 2 DVD5 folder

6.Copy from DVD to R6Vegas 2 DVD5\redist

You can create a iso and burn to dvd with any label

May I suggest only one change?

Change these Autorun button values in Setup.ini under [AutorunSettings]

Code:

ExitLeft=475

ExitTop=260

InstallLeft=475

InstallTop=205

PlayLeft=475

PlayTop=150

to this

Code:

ExitTop=300

InstallLeft=25

InstallTop=250

PlayLeft=25

PlayTop=200

It is a cosmetic change and it looks a lot better... :)

Man already i finnish Conversion for The Saboteur 1xdvd5 only i need a help with registry and if works i will post

This conversion is a little bit strange for me!
I followed all the steps, but I'm not sure when I run the Inno script ...
However, you can install as well, but the game does not run, the following error appears:
"General protection fault!
History: " ends here...
And in the game installation folder there are a lot of useless files and additional folders that have no relation to the game...
The Autorun.inf file says "Label=Gears of War", there is a little mistake or the wrong conversion files?
Someone else has tested this and its works?
Anyway, thanks for the work!

I remember doing this one back in the day when games came with retail installshield setups that we could 'hack'.

Basically, here's what you need to do to get it done right:

1. Copy entire game dvd (files, folders, etc) to a folder on your hard drive, let's call this folder TCRSV2.

2. Extract the attached .zip into this folder.

3. Run dvd9to2xdvd5.bat

4. Find INSTRUCTIONS.txt in your TCRSV2 folder and pick up @ step 5.

Note: the way that this conversion shrinks the game down is by removing foreign language/audio files. It assumes in all steps you want to only keep the english game version.
