Dead Space 3 1xDVD5
 

Based on peterf1999 conversion
(Dead Space 3 (1x DVD5) *INNO+Precomp+Srep+FreeArc(LZMA)* *ENG+Subs*)

1) Install the game

2) Extract 'Dead Space 3 1xDVD5' contents (not in game folder)

3) Launch Compress.bat

4) Type the location of game where it is installed

5)wait until the compression finishes...

6) Burn or make iso with label name of your choice

Not sure where it left the file but it remained with a
Data1.bin
Data2.bin
Data3.bin
Not sure what I am burning since they don't open in poweriso utility. It also left a setup.exe in the setup folder.Or did it save the iso image else where?

after compression is finish copy

to Setup folder were setup.exe is :D
and the files open with FreeArc, Poweriso cant open the files :P

OHHH it's been a long time since i've been on this forum hehe. So when i run Setup.exe it basically runs a custom setup install that is FreeArc which will simply extract the contents to a folder? and i just burn the exe with the bins as is.

that's a good one you have here my friend but how did you manage to put three splash screens in one installer?

used the splash script 3 times for 3 splashes :cool:

Hi there
I'm an original user, just thinking maybe i could backup my game data with some flashy installer, not some boring progress bar :)
Then i stumbled upon this :)

Compression works flawlessy, took 1 hour

But unfortunately, when i tried it, i got an error : not a SREP file
Then installer finished, but i must force it to close by Task Manager

Wonder where i get it wrong?

Any help appreciated

do you have freearc installed in your OS?

After installed free arc, it works past that error screen

but unfortunately, i got this error instead :confused:

using inject mode like steam, origin only read 8.80GB from total 9.22 GB data files :confused:

Oh well, it's not that much, i can dl-ed it again :)

If you can't defeat an error, you could run away from it and try another conversion that produces similar results.
