I was wondering if I have to use a patch if i'm using CloneCD? Can I just make an image then burn it onto a new cd? I have the neokey usb chip. How do I know if I need to use a patch. I have the us version ps2. Im sorry for the stupid questions, Im just new to this and am trying to learn as much as possible.

Most EA games need a patch with the USB mod. So those games will have to be processed according to the method set out and supported on ####://www.eapatcher.com.

This is because the USB mod does not reach parts of the PS2 reached by the fully wired mods. So some software fooling has to be done where with an 8 wire modchip a CloneCD copy would suffice.
